Natalie
AMI (6-12) Diploma Candidate 2028
Mater of Arts in Teaching
NH certified educator (K-12)
Hi! I’m Natalie. I’m a seasoned educator and have spent most of my life working with children from birth through high school. Over the decades I have worked with children, I have sadly seen a decrease in academic achievement and mental health, as well as an increase in anxiety, school avoidance, burnout, and mental health related concerns. Having been raised in a neurodivergent household and now raising two neurosparklies of my own, I’m deeply invested in understanding and supporting children who are often misunderstood.
Our job as the adult is to get to know our children, be in tune in their development, and support them at every stage. Drawing from the work of Maria Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio, and Ross Greene, children are blessed with inherent autonomy deserving of honor and respect. They are driven by curiosity to explore the world, understand it, and create. When we given them trust, freedom, and tools, they will exceed our imagination every time.
Pine Hollow Learning is a dream born of the need to create authentic learning opportunities that support the mental and emotional health of diverse learners.
On paper, my qualifications are:
NH certified educator
2028 AMI (6-12) Montessori Diploma candidate
Master of Arts in Teaching
Advanced certifications in music and ESOL
My passion fields are Montessori education, child development, psychology, and mental/emotional health. My strengths are attunement and creative, connection-based problem solving. In my parallel life, I am a freelance flutist and private flute instructor.
